Nigerian Music Producer Rexxie Reportedly Detained By Ugandan Immigration Authorities

Rexxie, the Nigerian record producer, DJ, and songwriter real name Ezeh Chisom Faith, has been apprehended by Ugandan immigration authorities.

The reason behind his arrest remains undisclosed, but it has been reported that he is currently in the custody of the immigration officers in Uganda.

Taking to his social media platforms, Rexxie shared the news of his arrest and expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation.

In an appeal for assistance, he called upon concerned individuals to help him, leading his fans and well-wishers to rally behind him with the hashtag #UgandaFreeRexxie.

This incident is not the first time Nigerian artists have faced legal issues in Uganda. In 2020, Tems and Omah Lay were also detained for allegedly violating COVID-19 guidelines during a concert.
